The Original Sewing House.

Seven years ago our family helped to remodel the left half of our attached garage into a combination sewing machine display area with service area in the back.  This little 12' x 27' space was the birthplace of The Sewing House.

We give God praise and we thank our customers and co-workers for the expansion of The Sewing House.

Each year we celebrate with our October Anniversary Sale.  Come share in our celebration and save some money too!

More Information

American Made Vacuums

Are you tired of foreign made plastic vacuums that wear out fast?  We are now selling vacuums made in the USA and built to last.

The Sewing House is now your authorized Riccar Vacuum Dealer. Terry Godwin, the owner of The Clean Sweep, recently moved to Missouri. We purchased his inventory and became the authorized Riccar dealer for this region.  We have Riccar Upright and Cannister models in stock.

Riccar Upright  Vacuums are manufactured in St. James, Missouri. They are built to last and have a wonderful warrantee.

The Supralite line of upright vacuums is very lightweight and has a much more powerful motor than Oreck.  Come in and check out our complete vacuum display.

We will be carrying bags, belts and other supplies for many brands of vacuums. We will be glad to order your brand of supplies if we don't have them in stock.

Discount Fabric Department

The Sewing House now has a discount fabric department located in the balcony.  The inventory will be constantly changing, so check in often.

Ladies, you need to know that owners of other embroidery machine brands are welcome.  We have wonderful testimonials from individuals who travel quite a distance and find our embroidery club to be very helpful.  We do not use embroidery club as a high pressure sales tool.  Just bring a smile and a show and tell project.
